FAQ: Does my pet need X-rays before seeing you?

This weeks question is, “does my pet need X-rays before being seen with you?” 🤔

While X-rays and other diagnostics are always appreciated and can provide extra information for me, most of the time they’re not required before beginning care.

A huge part of both human and animal chiropractic school is learning when NOT to adjust, which means that if your pet’s examination reveals something I’m not comfortable with, I will refer you back to your primary veterinarian for diagnostics to rule out things like fractures, tears, dislocations, or cancer.

I strive to maintain a great relationship with your primary veterinarian so that together we can provide a well-rounded and comprehensive approach to your pet’s health and well-being! 🙌
